Hi, and welcome!  I am so happy to see so many familiar faces in my kindergarten classroom!  Also, a big welcome to our students who are new to the district.  I'm looking forward to a fun and exciting year with my students.  The class currently consists of 7 girls and 5 boys.  One of the first discussions we had as a class was how important it is that we consider others.  We decided on the following as rules to live by this year:

1.  Keep your hands and feet to yourselves.

2.  Be a good friend.

3.  Be a good listener.

4.  Use your quiet voice.

5.  Walk inside except in the gym when you are playing.

6.  Learn and have fun.

We will be learning many new things in kindergarten this year.  Through the use of themes, we will learn about concepts in reading, math, science and social studies.  We are currently learning about positional words  and patterning in math, and rhyming and words in a sentence in reading.  In science and social studies we are learning about colors and ourselves.
